Summer Lovin’

IMG_7992

Does any else in this blog family have a Summer Bucket List? If so, are the ideas crazy once in a lifetime experiences? Or just little things you want to do? Because here’s the thing. We don’t vacation during the summer, because we LOVE the Pacific Northwest in the summer time. The Anderson’s live life to the fullest right at home during the summer months. By living life to the fullest, I mean we play hard and eat a ton, with our family and friends. Here is our list of things we’ll be doing this summer…

Read 1 Book A Month                                                                                                                My Possible Reads Include: Adamant by Lisa Bevere, I’m Still Here: Black Dignity In A World Made For Whiteness by Austin Channing, The Broken Way by Ann Voskamp, The Sacred Slow by Alicia Britt Chole … the Bible of course!

Go to the beach (Our favorite is Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast.)

Visit the library (Downtown Vancouver,WA. -They have coffee!)

Have a picnic and watch airplanes

Visit the Oregon Zoo

Daddy & Mommy take just the big kid on a quick trip

Read potty training books to our toddler

Go Swimming/Water Fun

BBQ & Bonfire’s (This one is my favorite! You coming over?)

Continue to exercise (I do The Bar Method Online and I LOOOOOVE it!)

Continue to bother my husband about getting a puppy.

What about you? Have you made any plans for the summer yet? If so, comment below and let me know what they are. Maybe I’ll copy your idea. ;) But whatever you choose to do, choose to make extra time for the people you love and schedule more time to pray and read the Bible. Does that make sense?
